The Pines Annual Neighborhood Cleanup Day is April 5
This Spring, The Pines has again requested a group of student volunteers, through OU’s Big Event community service day, to help with cleanup and other projects on our greenbelts. This annual community project has saved the HOA a great deal of expense over the years in maintaining the plentiful greenbelt areas available for everyone’s enjoyment. We encourage all neighbors to join us for this community project, get to know each other and get more familiar with our vast and beautiful common areas, while making our neighborhood more beautiful. We contracted with a new mowing company this year, and they’ve done a good deal of tree trimming, clearing and debris removal. As a result, for this year’s Cleanup Day, we will focus on trash pickup, filling some holes behind the West Lake dam and along the spillway, and a bit more brush and debris removal. The city of Warr Acres will provide two dumpsters for the day, locations to be determined. All ages and abilities are welcome! Here are some ways you can help:
RSVP in the comments (please provide a contact phone or email) or just show up. Hope to see you there!
